Alex Rodriguez to Francisco Rodriguez. The public standing. New York rivals face to face Red Sox vs. Yankees Tickets.

The grand finale this Sunday’s Subway Series was spectacular enough to end up on Broadway.

With runners on first and third base in the ninth inning, Francisco Rodriguez struck out Alex Rodriguez to preserve a 6-4 victory the New York Mets against the Yankees in New York.

The pitcher Johan Santana contributed to the victory with a stellar performance that earned him his first win in five starts since April 27 Boston Red Sox Tickets.

“I really enjoyed the situation,” said Francisco Rodriguez. “That’s what I get paid. Not to make the fans suffer so, but to fulfill my job Boston Red Sox Tickets at Fenway Park.”

Jason Bay hit two homers off CC Sabathia and the Mets against the Yankees endured a tense final whistle to end up winning two of a series of three games at Citi Field.

“Right where you want to be,” said A-Rod. “It was a good sign that we put pressure. After being down 6-0 ended with the last at bat.”

Santana (4-2) was in control from the start in his match against Sabathia (4-3) and managed to hold the Yankees scoreless for much of the night. In the ninth inning, added three runs, thus anticipating the intense duel between the closer marker records and the slugger named MVP.

After stand under, 2-0 and 3-1, K-Rod managed to level the account. A-Rod hit fouls against the next two pitches before striking out.

“It was very good,” said Santana. “Very intense, but very good.”

Alex Cora, including late in the lineup, the offensive began with a two-run single in a four-run second inning.

The Mets won two of a three-game series at home, Citi Field, for his first victory in the Subway Series since the Yankees swept in May 2008 in a two-game series cut short by rain in the old Yankee Stadium.

New York’s rivals will face again at the home of the Yankees in the Bronx, from 18 to 20 June.

The Venezuelan Francisco Cervelli hit an RBI single that reached the top of the left-field wall, spoiling the shutout bid of Santana in the seventh inning. Cervelli thought the ball was a home run and the umpires gathered to watch the replay. Still, they maintained their original decision.

“I think that Citi Field is a little too big for me,” said Cervelli.
