Refrain from stopping the board in swaying around the mount; put your arms at the side of the knee in front and bend down making it easier to sway in a standing position; when you are standing up put almost half of your load in your front foot; keep the speed slowly while starting, making it easier to go up and let the motorboat go faster later; beginners can use short rope to make an easier launch; make sure that unexpected jerks are not present in the boat.
