The Hartford XL is pretty much the same as the Hartford L except for the size of the tent which is 755cm wide, 770cm long and a height of 215cm also the weight is increased, tent weight is 20.9kg and a pole weight of 11kg. When the tent is packed away the dimensions are 40 by 69cm for the tent and 17 by 61cm for the poles. Also the two original rooms are 5cm shorter to make room for the third room at the back. With the added backdoor and the good-sized porch gives suburb and comfortable ventilation. The bedrooms are all pre-attached so you don’t have to put them up making it easier to pitch, to reduce the chance of ripping, all the stress points have been reinforced. The groundsheet is fully sealed to give extra protection from dirt, bugs, insects and the cold. Near the base of the tent there is a cable entry point, which is obviously used for placing your electrical hook-up into your tent without having to leave every door open and in turn running the risk of having your Camping Equipment stolen. Every guy rope on the tent are pre-attached and are luminous for safety also all of the guy ropes have a retainer system to tidy up the guide ropes when packing up the tent.
